Our Story

Founded in 2018 by Ned Doherty, N.G.D Waterworks was born out of a passion for quality craftsmanship and a vision to meet the high demand for premium waterfront construction services.

After completing his trade in carpentry and joinery and gaining experience in residential construction, Ned recognised a gap in the market for companies that could deliver high-end, bespoke solutions for waterfront property owners.

Ned’s commitment to excellence and innovation has been the driving force behind our success, establishing N.G.D Waterworks as a trusted name in marine construction.

Today, N.G.D Waterworks operates from our premises in Kurnell, NSW, with an office in Taren Point, servicing clients along the east coast of Australia.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our services to include barge hire, custom pontoon manufacturing for direct sale and wholesale, specialist boardwalk construction solutions, and solutions for tight and difficult access projects. With a focus on both residential and commercial markets, N.G.D Waterworks continues to grow, offering a wide range of waterfront construction services designed to meet the unique needs of each project.
